Issam received his Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering (with Distinction) from Princess Sumaya University for Technology - Amman, Jordan, after getting a full scholarship there for 4 years.

 

He joined Dalhousie University to pursue his M.A.Sc in Electrical and Computer Engineering starting from January 2009, his research interests are in Digital Electronics and Embedded Systems, he is currently working on optimizing different implementations for the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) Algorithm.
